GWC began as a family business with one simple goal: protect what matters.
As the business grew, we began to understand that what people needed wasn’t just packaging. It was reliability. Someone to notice when the tape was running low. Someone to pick up the phone when something broke.
When William and Cathy Shih got married and joined the family business, they didn’t bring a sales playbook. They brought curiosity. They listened. They paid attention to what customers were actually dealing with, especially the quiet frustrations like inconsistencies in materials or the delays no one planned for. Over time, their way of working, rooted in service not selling, shaped GWC’s future.
Today, our role is simple: be useful. We fix what needs fixing, help prevent problems before they start, and support the people doing the heavy lifting. A lot of what we do happens behind the scenes—no spotlight, no fuss. It’s the kind of quiet work that keeps things running smoothly, and we take pride in every bit of it.
